At Run 4 Wales, we deliver a series of mass participation events including the Cardiff Half Marathon. We have been involved with Rubicon for several years, but in 2022 they took on responsibility for the provision of stewarding across all of our events for the year.

We have been really pleased with their service. Their event day support and ability to be flexible, react and deal with problems as they occur has been great. They provide a good team of staff that are briefed and able to carry out their roles, but they also become part of the wider Run 4 Wales team, working with us to ensure that our events are a success and that our participants and spectators have the best experience possible, whilst maintaining a secure and safe environment for all.

We hired Rubicon for our graduation film for our final major project at the University of South Wales. They were effective in minimalising public disruption on set during the two-night shoot in Cardiff. The staff sent were very sociable and easy to work with, they provided an excellent service ensuring we had zero disruptions on set from the public. Staff were also incredibly punctual arriving early to location both days. They were also COVID trained, and first aid trained which is always an added reassurance. Customer service via email and social media always responded quickly and politely. Rubicon was cooperative and accommodating in meeting our requirements, offering us simple solutions when necessary. Overall, the staff had a very good attitude and I would both recommend their service to others and use them again myself for future film projects.

We will shortly be going into our third season of using Rubicon as a Service provider. They have and continue to provide licenced security staff at International and EPL / EFL Football fixtures, Concerts and Events where the Match or Event Classification determines extra resilience is needed. The collective aim is to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all persons who work and attend our fixtures and events! Our staff, with the help of valued partners such as Rubicon ensures we deliver this key objective time and time again.

Rubicon supported Cardiff Blues with the safety management of the Welsh Varsity freshers rugby held at Cardiff Arms Park. Being a day time Wednesday fixture many of our core stewarding team were unavailable and we needed a company with a good understanding of sports grounds, students as well as lively crowds. Rubicon supported us and we were extremely impressed with their professional approach, knowledge and quality of staff

Rubicon have continued to provide the security at our Cardiff City centre locations for just short of 3 years, in addition the also cover our National Contract for “adhoc” events and we cannot fault the service that they provide. We have always been impressed by their professionalism and flexibility towards ad-hoc events which are the most difficult to cover from a security perspective.

Rubicon supplied us with amazing security guards for our new factual entertainment series for Channel 4. The security staff were professional, well presented and understood how TV production works. The staff went above and beyond their roles almost every day on location even helping with some more TV production duties. They had a great knowledge of Covid-19 protocols and ensured all crew members felt safe whilst working on location. Bottom line if you are looking to hire a security company for your next TV production don’t waste time book these guys!

We have been using Rubicon now for 2 years during which time we have built a strong working relationship. The service provided has always delivered high quality, well trained experienced staff, who are always willing to go the extra mile on shift and are capable of adapting to many situations. Rubicon has been with DEPOT since day 1 which was in 2015. As we’ve grown in size they’ve always fulfilled our requirements and offered a service second to none. We offer such a variety of events on a weekly basis and as a result have such a diverse client base, but Rubicon have never failed to supply security that couldn’t be a better fit for the retrospective event.

They really are more than a labour provider and they genuinely have cemented themselves as part of our team here at the DEPOT.

We have been using Rubicon FM for their facilities management services for nearly six years. We are extremely selective over the contractors we use, as our contractors play a vital role in delivering the high-quality service we promise to our own customers who often associate our contractors as our brand. PropertyIndex are now going into our third year with Rubicon Facilities Management and we’re delighted to still be working with them. We have grown in size over the last three years and they have continued to offer the same level of service they committed to on day one! Predominately we use Rubicon for our site security across South Wales and West England.
